- Shift: Night shift, 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and possible call
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,080 - $1,160
Sterile Processing Technician Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician (SP Tech)
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification required)
- Hospital sterile processing experience required
- Ability to work night shifts, rotating weekends, and respond to call as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety in a clinical support role
Sterile Processing Technician Responsibilities
- Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory management
- Ensure all equipment is properly prepared and available for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to support daily hospital operations
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts and respond to on-call needs as required
