You Are:
A driven, entrepreneurial Senior Sales Executive – Telecom (DACH) who has a passion for technology enabled change, driving revenue and transforming business. This role is responsible for driving outbound sales activities for new accounts, selling all UST digital transformation offerings into the Telecom Sector.
The Opportunity:
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving new revenue with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Telecom operators in Europe. The activities include reaching out to prospects, contacting leads, qualifying them as prospects, educating prospects about the product or service and scheduling meetings. Candidate should exhibit strong sales aptitude and industry understanding by building relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Understands key Telecom market trends, customer drivers and business outcomes of digital transformation and initiates relevant conversations for new/assigned accounts.
- Develops an understanding of the customer and the needs of each account and identifies opportunities to drive optimizations and new digital solutions/ideas based on their needs and strategies
- Manages and executes a strategic plan for driving sales with customers
- Coordinates with extended teams and holds self and the team accountable for executing on plans and meeting customer needs
- Outlines revenue targets to deliver on account plans; orchestrates extended team and embraces partners to scale business
- Effectively partners with hybrid teams internally
- Work closely with team members to develop market intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement
- Ensures line-of-business wins are captured (e.g., testimonials) for referencing.
What you need:
- Extensive experience of sales within new accounts within the cloud and digital transformation domain.
- Experience of selling into the Telecommunication sector in the DACH region.
- Outstanding oral and written communications skills with a talent for compelling storytelling and the innate ability to make the complex simple
- Good understanding of digital transformation and competitors in the space
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
- Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business so value can be provided by UST
- Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts
- Should be a self-starter, self-motivated and promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills across a variety of channels (email, social media, phone, etc.).
