Our hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled physicians and therapists, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality care.

PM&R INPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for a full time PM&R Inpatient Physician interested in building a practice and growing with the community. The town has the best of all worlds; four-season weather, lake access, and skiing nearby. This opportunity has a great financial package available including generous income guarantee and full relocation. Encompass Health has a wonderful group of collegial physicians with plenty of specialty support from local acute care hospitals.

WHERE YOU WILL PRACTICE READING PA

Reading, Pennsylvania's history is steeped in innovation. The metro area is home to the real-life Reading Railroad from the Monopoly board game, along with glimpses into the Allegheny Aqueduct and a more than 100-year-old, seven-story pagoda that overlooks the bordering Reading Prong mountain formation. The cost of living in Reading is well below that of many other metro areas, thanks in large part to affordable housing costs.

Active Reading residents will find plenty of ways to burn energy in Reading. The metro area has miles of trails that are ideal for walking, jogging and biking. During the warmer months, kayaking and canoeing along the Schuylkill River are particularly popular pastimes. Those who prefer to watch sports can cheer on the Reading Fightin Phils, the Philadelphia Phillies' minor league baseball team, at FirstEnergy Stadium.

QUALIFICATIONS

MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Patient-centered commitment to excellence
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred
