This is the journey-level classification in the Administrative Assistant series. T
he current recruitment will fill two full-time vacancies in the Public Works Department and one part-time (.50 FTE) vacancy in the Mountain View Police Department. It will also establish an eligibility list for future vacancies within the City.
What You'll Do: - Answer phones and in-person customer questions.
- Maintaining and ordering supplies for the office.
- Invoice processing and routing.
- Creating and keeping files organized for supervisors and assigned personnel.
- Responding to public records requests.
The Essentials - Two years of increasingly responsible clerical and administrative office support experience.
- Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade.
