Opportunity:
RN - Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work 10-hour day shifts with call responsibilities
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Must be able to take call
• Patient ratios: 1:1 in the lab, 2:1 in holding, 4:1 in pre/post
• Work in a dynamic and busy cath lab environment with 2 cath lab rooms, 10 pre & post beds, and 6 holding beds
• Perform heart caths and interventions, peripheral caths and interventions, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, pacemaker and ICD implants, EP studies and ablations, PFO & ASD closures, and carotid stents
• Operate GE imaging equipment, Volcano, Rotoblator, Angiojet, IABP, Impella, Penumbra, and Inari
• Use Cerner and Merge hemodynamic system for EMR documentation
• Previous Cath Lab experience required
• Structural Heart experience preferred
• EP experience preferred
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Flexible and easygoing personality a strong fit for the unit
Facility:
This hospital is a 204-bed facility housing a very dynamic and busy cath lab that performs all structural heart procedures and maintains an advanced cardiac program. The unit is staffed with experienced RNs and CVTs and features cutting-edge equipment to support a wide range of cardiac and interventional procedures. The facility is actively growing its program with the addition of residents and cardiac fellows.
