**Join Our Team as an OB Registered Nurse – Part Time Night Shift!**

This part-time night shift position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of families during their most transformative moments. Here’s what you can expect:
**Position Summary:**
- Deliver quality nursing care for maternal and newborn patients.
- Collaborate with a professional team to reflect the caring philosophy of the hospital.
- Cross-train in Med Surg/EICU to broaden your skills.
**Essential Job Duties:**
- Complete initial nursing histories and assess patient conditions.
- Develop individualized care plans for assigned patients.
- Triage patient care based on presenting or expressed symptoms.
- Administer medications accurately and assess labor progression.
- Manage labor induction and cervical ripening with confidence.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies such as postpartum hemorrhage and uterine rupture.
- Perform and interpret fetal heart monitoring accurately.
- Address pregnancy-related concerns, including hypertension and diabetes.
- Assess and manage newborn conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
- Carry out neonatal resuscitation following your scope of practice and certification.
- Monitor newborn for potential adverse events like hypoglycemia and jaundice.
- Educate patients and involve them in the care of their newborn.
- Communicate effectively with the patient care team and alert providers to status changes.
- Other duties as requested.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Two-year nursing degree (four-year preferred).
- Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
- AHA BLS within 1 month of hire.
- NRP within 6 months of hire.
- ALSO within 1 year of hire.
- STABLE within 1 year of hire.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year of hire.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
- Intermediate computer proficiency.
- Comprehensive nursing skills and knowledge of equipment.
- Thorough understanding of triage.
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
**Shift Information:**
- Night Shift: 4 (12) hour shifts, every other weekend, 7pm-7:30am.
