Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
Schedule: 4 X 10 hour shift:SwingorOvernight;Weekend availability required
Experience:Veterinary experience: 3 years (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
Schedule: Overnights
Dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule, and additional responsibilities.
Shift Differential Pay for Swing and Overnight available
Responsibilities:
- Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and procedures
- Venipuncture and IVC placement
- Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.
- Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team. Recognize subtle change in clinical status
- Discharge instructions with clients
- Complete estimates, basic record keeping
- Surgical preparation
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Advanced Phlebotomy
- Monitoring Ventilator Cases
- Apheresis
- Diagnostic imaging (radiographs and assisting with ultrasounds)
Requirements:
- RVT Credentials valid in California
- ICU experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask
- Love for animals
