**Exciting Opportunity for Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses!**
**Job Description:**
- **Profession:** Registered Nurse

- **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- **Experience Required:** Minimum of 2 years
- **Travel Experience Required:** Yes
- **Teaching Hospital Experience:** Preferred
- **Community Hospital Experience:** Required
- **Float Required:** Yes (to postpartum as needed)
- **Weekend Coverage:** Every Other
**Certifications Required:**
- AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
- FHM
**Skills:**
- Labor and Delivery Management
- Assistance with vaginal delivery
- Circulation for C-section
- Scrubbing for C-section (preferred)
**Work Environment:**
- Facility births/month: 200-300
- 4 Antepartum rooms
- 9 Labor/High Risk rooms
- 3 Triage rooms
- No on-call required
**Patient Age Groups:**
- Neonates
- Adolescents
- Adults
**Daily Census:**
- Approximately 200 deliveries per month
- 9 Labor and Delivery rooms
**Interdisciplinary Support:**
- Respiratory Services
- Interpretation Services
- Phlebotomy
- Radiology
- Social Services
- Rapid Response Teams
- Pharmacy
**Patient Diagnoses:**
- Not known for high-risk population;
- Serves celebrities, emphasizing privacy
**Special Procedures/Unit Details:**
- Fetal Heart Monitoring
- High Risk Pregnancy Monitoring
- C-sections
- Vaginal Deliveries
- Postpartum couplet care (newborn and maternal)
- Newborn role in delivery
**Equipment:**
- Must work in OR suite during C-section (standard equipment)
**Additional Information:**
- Local radius: 50 miles (contact for local rate)
- Start Date: ASAP
- First-timers accepted: No
- RTO Restrictions: Must be included at time of submission
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off once per two-week pay period
