Data Collection: Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work in a 2-procedure room cardiac catheterization lab
• Team-based care with 3 team members per patient procedure
• Work with Phillips and Siemens Floro equipment
• Use MERGE Hemo for Cath Lab documentation and Meditech EMR systems
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD procedures, watchman procedures, IR procedures, vascular procedures, and EP ablations
• Work one full weekend plus 2 weekdays for a total of 10 shifts per four-week schedule
• May float to Pre/Post Cath Department
• Hospital-provided sky blue scrubs required
• Must follow procedural guidelines including universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderated sedation guidelines
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must be a team player and flexible
• Electrophysiology experience preferred
• On-call staff coverage includes 2 RNs and 1 Cath Lab Tech or 1 RN and 2 Cath Lab Techs during night shift
Facility:
This healthcare facility features a modern cardiac catheterization lab with 2 procedure rooms located on the 1st floor of the main building. The department maintains a staff of 9 professionals including RNs and Cath Lab Techs, with day shift operations including 1 supervisor, 4 RNs, and 2 Cath Lab Techs. The facility is equipped with advanced Phillips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment and utilizes specialized documentation systems to support comprehensive cardiac procedures and interventional services.
