Opportunity:
Labor & Delivery RN
Job Details:
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required - does not accept first-time travelers
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred)
• Patient ratio of 1:1-3
• Float to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set
• Care for patients with labor/preterm labor diagnoses
• Work in 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Perform circulating, OB-GYN, Post-Op, Pre-Op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk labor & delivery duties
• Administer blood/blood products, manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps
• Perform cardioversion/defibrillation and manage cooling/warming blankets
• Handle wound vac, drains, and administer heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Attend all deliveries including high-risk deliveries
• Assist with GYN surgeries, provide couplet care, and work in transition nursery
• Care for adolescents, infants, and adults
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 16 hours (non-billable)
• Provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

The facility handles 200-300 births per month and provides specialized care including high-risk deliveries, GYN surgeries, and transition nursery services.
