Opportunity:
SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - L&D
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel position for 4-5 positions available
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM-C or AWHONN
• Patient ratios: 1:1 high risk labor c-sections; 1:2 antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, PP on mag; 1:3 PP mag no baby, Outpatients
• Work with Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, CPN (GE) monitor
• Electronic medical record system: Meditech/CPN
• Perform typical procedures including c-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM and Doppler
• Preferred experience in circulating c-sections and high risk LDR
• Must demonstrate compassionate, caring, friendly, patient and solutions-oriented personality
• Self-scheduling available
• Team nursing approach with collaborative support
Facility:
This major medical center features a 26-bed labor and delivery unit with a staff of 112 healthcare professionals. The facility offers comprehensive obstetric services including high-risk labor and delivery, c-sections, and inductions. The unit operates with a team nursing approach where staff members support each other and work collaboratively to meet patient care needs. The facility has implemented a new OB Hospitalist program providing attending support to the residency program and nurses working triage, along with a strong leadership team that maintains floor coverage when needed.
