**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Team as a Registered Nurse!**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (ER)
- **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30)
- **Scheduling Type:** Self-Scheduled
- **Weekend Coverage:** Every Other Weekend
- **Patient Age Groups:** Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced environment
- Manage patient ratios of 1:4
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Radiology
**Required Experience:**
- Minimum of 3 years in ER nursing
- Proven previous charge experience
- Familiarity with patient charting systems, specifically Epic
**Preferred Certifications:**
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
**Essential Skills:**
- IV therapy and phlebotomy
- Blood product administration and central line management
- Arterial line management
- BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients
- Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
**Critical Care Proficiency:**
- Neurological care, including CVA and neuro-trauma
- Cardiac monitoring and management of dysrhythmias
- Orthopedic trauma experience
**Daily Operations:**
- Participate in triage and isolation precautions
- Administer IV vasopressors and procedural sedation
- Handle an average daily census of 45 patients with approximately 45 visits per day
