**Join Our Team as an Admin Supervisor in Acute Care!**
**Job Description:**
- **Minimum Education:**
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
- **Required Licenses:**
- Current RN registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- AHA ACLS Certification.
- **Minimum Work Experience:**
- Previous experience in management and/or leadership role.
- Three - four years acute care experience preferred.
- **Required Skills:**
- Strong leadership attributes and decision-making skills.
- **Physical Requirements:**
- Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
- Up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
- Negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Frequently reaches and handles objects with hands.
- **Essential Functions:**
- Responds immediately to critical events.
- Provides leadership during critical events such as code blue, code red, and code 100.
- Ensures appropriate follow-up such as staff education and documentation.
- Adjusts staffing levels to ensure highest quality of patient care.
- Continuously evaluates staffing needs for current and next shifts.
- Acts as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff.
- Offers clinical consultation, advice, and education to staff.
- Assists staff with problems and conflict resolution.
- Mediates conflicts effectively.
- Advocates for patients, families, and staff rights.
- Supports other departments to meet patient needs.
- Maintains operations of other departments during non-operating hours.
- Functions as an administrative resource for other departments outside of normal hours.
- **Work Schedule:**
- 20 - 22 hours per week, varying shifts.
- Every 3rd weekend and holiday required.
- Work week is Monday through Sunday.
