**Join Our Team as a Pediatric Case Manager RN!**
**Job Description:**
- Position: Pediatric Case Manager RN
- Shift: Day Shift (5x8 hours)
- Variations include:
- 0700-1530
- 0730-1600
- 0800-1630
- 0830-1700
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse
- Pediatric Experience Required
- Acute Care Experience Mandatory
- Epic Charting System Experience Required
- Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Coordinate care for patients across diverse age groups:
- Neonates
- Infants
- Pediatrics
- Adolescents
- Adults
- Geriatrics
- Conduct needs assessments and discharge planning
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and CMS
- Manage prior authorizations and pre-certifications
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with evidence-based guidelines for medical necessity
- Ability to assess and plan care effectively
- Float Requirement:
- Yes, within Case Management services
- Weekend Coverage:
- Required, every other weekend
- Other Requirements:
- AK RN License in hand required for Auto Offer
- ACM Certification Preferred
- Microsoft Office/Teams Experience Preferred
- No Local Candidates Accepted - Must reside 50 miles away
- Orientation Hours:
- 24 hours
- Patient Ratios:
- Days: 1:30
