Opportunity:
RN: L&D Mother Baby FLOAT
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3 shifts or 48 hours for 4 shifts per week
• Float between Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and OB Special Care units as needed according to census
• Required to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule (may work 1, 2, or all 3 days of the weekend)
• No on-call requirements
• 2 years of experience required, no first-timers accepted
• Must have travel experience and antepartum experience
• Must have experience with facility births/month 100-200
• Required certifications: State license (active by start date), BLS, AWHONN (Advanced or Intermediate), NRP
• EPIC charting experience required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Scrub color: Hunter Green
• Free parking with badge access to parking garage
• 5 hours of non-billable modules to be completed pre-start
• RTO must be submitted at time of profile (5-day maximum policy)
• Provide care for neonates, adolescents, and adults
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
Facility:
This is a 632-bed short-term acute care hospital with Magnet designation and Level 1 Trauma center recognition. The facility serves as a regional referral center for high-risk obstetric care and utilizes the AWHONN staffing model. The Labor & Delivery unit features 12 LDRs, 3 ORs, 6 OB triage beds, and 8 OBSC beds, while the Mother Baby Center has 34 rooms and maintains Baby Friendly Recognition for exceptional postpartum and newborn care.
