**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as a Registered Nurse - Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- Are you ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment?
- As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you’ll be a vital part of the patient care team, delivering exceptional care to those in need.
**Your Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough patient assessments upon admission using effective interview techniques to gather:
- Past medical history
- Current medical status
- Vital signs
- Lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with physicians to implement and manage written care plans.
**Essential Job Functions:**
- **Assessment:**
- Perform standard assessments utilizing basic medical equipment.
- **Medication Administration:**
- Exhibit strong visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
- **Communication / Documentation:**
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- **Patient Safety:**
- Adhere to all safety standards as per job analysis.
- **Interpersonal Skills:**
- Foster positive interactions with team members and patients.
- Respect patients' culture, lifestyle, religion, and age in all care plans.
- Embrace constructive criticism professionally.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:**
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
- Current New Hampshire RN License required or eligible for NH RN license.
- **Experience:**
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- **Professional Activities:**
- Membership in a professional nursing organization is a plus.
- Certification in specialty preferred.
