Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Alabama Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Prior experience with geriatric patient populations and restorative therapy programs preferred.
- Ability to perform documentation in electronic medical record systems required.
- Willingness to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
- PT or PTA credentials accepted; PT preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Days: Monday through Friday, with one weekend rotation per month.
- Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks available.
- May float to other nearby facilities as requested by the client.
