Travel RN – Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC), Nights

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 16-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and professional development
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care in a long-term acute care setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license (compact)
- Minimum 2–5 years of clinical nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated ventilator and tracheostomy (vent/trach) experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities in an acute care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an LTAC or telemetry setting
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
