Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00–15:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within a multi-specialty operating room environment including orthopedics, urology, general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, and pain management
- Manage and circulate across up to 4 operating rooms as assigned
- Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes
- Float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
- Complete required onboarding and annual compliance modules prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid California RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Willingness to float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location
- Availability to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under standard traveler guidelines
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, ENT, or ophthalmology
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are also encouraged to apply
- Strong adaptability and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
