Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit supporting approximately 3,000 deliveries per year
- Independently read and interpret telemetry strips and fetal monitoring data
- Function as an OR circulator within the department's operating and recovery rooms as needed
- Deliver high-quality nursing care across labor rooms, operating and recovery rooms, and triage rooms
- Accurately document patient care and clinical data using EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 recent years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
- OR circulator experience required
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips and pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher
- Active BLS and NRP certifications required; all NRP lessons must be completed and must not expire during the assignment
- Evidence of completing an Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course (AWHONN preferred)
- Previous travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics
- Completion of a Dysrhythmia/Telemetry Interpretation course
- EPIC electronic health records experience
