Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients in a Level I and Level III Perinatal setting
- Monitor and assess antepartum and intrapartum patients, responding appropriately to changes in condition
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret findings in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality obstetric care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using electronic health record systems
- Adhere to all facility policies, compliance standards, and required learning modules prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery nursing experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Arizona, with no disciplinary actions on record
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active NRP certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active AFM (Antepartum Fetal Monitoring) certification from an approved vendor
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
- Antepartum nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
