Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Variable Shifts | Onsite | Weekend availability required | Holiday coverage required (2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting within an acute care environment
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
- Participate in on-call and weekend scheduling as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers and declinations not accepted)
- Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery or acute care setting
- Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital or Level IV Trauma facility
- Familiarity with floating to affiliate or sister facilities
