Contract | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 11:00–23:30) | Onsite | Weekends Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within a Children's Hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center setting
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 in accordance with unit standards
- Work a rotating schedule that includes weekend shifts (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
- Participate in holiday coverage, committing to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Complete required onboarding and annual compliance modules prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel contract terms
- Must be able to commit to all scheduling and RTO requests upfront at time of submittal
- Clean background; facility does not accept Nursys or background hits
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Familiarity with high-acuity maternal and neonatal care environments
