Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting throughout the duration of the assignment
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required by the unitFunction as a travel nurse within established facility protocols and compliance guidelines
- Be available for on-call shifts as discussed during the interview process
- Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed
- Work a minimum of 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall within the assignment period
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines — must be active at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience with at least one prior travel assignment completed, or 3 years of recent OR experience without prior travel
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate
- Current BLS certification (must be valid throughout the assignment; a documented renewal plan is required if expiration falls during the assignment)
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be honored
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of recent Operating Room experience
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
- BSN degree (required only for specific float pool or specialized positions)
