Contract (12 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights) | 3x12 Hours | Weekends, On-Call, and Holidays Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a PACU setting, monitoring and managing recovery from anesthesia
- Float as needed to main PACU, pre-op, ICU, and sister facility units within scope of practice
- Participate in rotating day and night shifts, including weekends, on-call assignments, and holidays as scheduled
- Deliver high-acuity patient care consistent with ICU-level nursing standards when required
- Adhere to all facility compliance policies, scheduling requirements, and traveler guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (strongly required)
- BLS certification – American Heart Association only
- ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
- Ability to float within scope of practice with no restrictions
- Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts, weekends, on-call, and holidays as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Combined ICU and PACU experience strongly preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version accepted)
