Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing a broad range of surgical procedures including abdominal, cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurosurgery, trauma, robotic, and more
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in the Operating Room setting throughout the perioperative process
- Utilize the Meditech documentation system to accurately record patient care, assessments, and surgical data
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team in a designated trauma center environment equipped to manage life-threatening injuries 24/7
- Adhere to set scheduling requirements and department-specific unit guidelines and policies
- Follow department dress code standards, including use of hospital-laundered scrubs provided by the department
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Operating Room clinical experience
- Ability to work a set night shift schedule (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to the Meditech documentation system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Surgical or procedural nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Experience in a trauma center or high-acuity surgical environment
