Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a 225-bed specialty care hospital
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility standards
- Adhere to all attendance requirements, including making up any missed shifts to maintain contracted hours
- Maintain professional conduct standards in alignment with facility and agency policies throughout the duration of the contract
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Ability to work overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
