TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Newton, Iowa, 50208!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

Location

Newton, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Every Other Weekend | No Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and disposition
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Prior experience in an emergency department or acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

TNCC or CEN certification
Experience with emergency triage and high-acuity patient populations
