Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating 36/48-hour weeks (84 hours biweekly) with 72-hour guarantee; straight 48s may be considered
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit with the ability to float to Med Surg as needed
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care during 12-hour night shifts following facility protocols and standards
- Adapt to scheduling needs including weekend shifts, which may encompass most weekends during the contract
- Complete required facility orientation modules during the designated orientation period
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using the facility's electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand prior to start date
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in IMC, PCU, Stepdown, or related setting
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
- Nursys verification required at time of submission
- Must agree to an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule and weekend availability
- Must reside outside a 50-mile local radius of the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system strongly preferred
- Comfort with block scheduling flexibility and adapting to variable weekly hour structures
