Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit while providing leadership within the nursing team
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served through the model of Shared Governance
- Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team with a focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
- Float to support various units including ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psychiatry, and inpatient rehabilitation units
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing; license must be in-hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with stepdown experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
- Active Nursys verification required with submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN degree preferred
- Critical care experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
