Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Location

Apple Valley, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | On-Call Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Perform and assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures including right and left heart catheterization
Assist with cardiac stent placement and related interventional procedures
Circulate procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
Provide on-call coverage during weeknights and weekends as required by unit needs
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Float between facilities within the state as needed to meet staffing demands

Required Qualifications

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand prior to start
Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience required
Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required (hard stop)
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Must not be a first-time travel nurse
LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days required

Preferred Experience / Skills

5 or more years of total RN experience
Prior experience working within an acute care hospital environment
Familiarity with Epic charting system
