Contract | Days | 5x8 Hours (7:00–15:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, spine, ENT, plastics, robotics, vascular, and neuro/spine
- Support a case mix of approximately 30% inpatient and 70% outpatient procedures, with approximately 10% pediatric cases
- Administer blood and blood products, manage epidural pumps, PICC/central lines, port-a-cath and vascular device access, wound vacs, and drains
- Perform and assist with procedure sedation in the operative setting
- Participate in on-call coverage as required, including weekend on-call support
- Float to other campuses as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; active compact license accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated experience with robotic-assisted surgery
- Experience with procedure sedation and blood/blood products administration
- Experience with drains, epidural pumps, PICC/central lines, port-a-cath/vascular device access, and wound vac
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Scrub experience strongly preferred, particularly in ENT with endoscope experience and robotics
- Orthopedic sports medicine experience preferred
