Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout night shift hours
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float within the contracted facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
- Complete required orientation modules prior to start and on an annual basis
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid California Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
- Willingness to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
- Willingness to float between the contracted facility and nearby sister facilities
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Strong adaptability and ability to transition smoothly between multiple care environments
