Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts, 3 Shifts per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Float to other areas appropriate to skillset as needed, including nearby facilities
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Compact license accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency departments
- Comfort with floating to various units or departments within scope of practice
