Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, adhering to safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Wisconsin or compact licensure eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-volume emergency care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Familiarity with chest pain protocols and cardiac emergency care
- Experience in a Leapfrog-rated or accredited acute care facility
