Contract | Night Shift | 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients throughout each shift
- Prescribe and implement nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and patient/family input
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary health care team members to coordinate and deliver patient care across applicable age groups
- Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
- Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care delivery to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire
- Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia interpretation required during orientation
- EPIC experience within the last 12 months required; each work history entry must identify the charting system used
- Recent Cerner experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
