Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit, managing diagnoses including general medical-surgical conditions, peritoneal dialysis, and radial band recovery (non-PCI)
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility standards and scope of practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float within the facility as needed, within scope of practice
- Adhere to all holiday scheduling requirements as outlined in the contract agreement
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to complete all compliance onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
- All compliance documentation must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date
- All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule changes permitted post-offer or post-start
- Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with peritoneal dialysis patient care
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
