Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | On-Site
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as hospital float pool staff, providing nursing care across multiple units as needed within scope of practice
- Primary assignment in the ER hold area with the expectation to float throughout the facility including the Emergency Department
- Deliver direct patient care during overnight shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Adhere to unit-specific protocols, holiday scheduling requirements, and compliance standards
- Complete required orientation modules and maintain full compliance with onboarding documentation deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Ability to float throughout the facility within scope of practice
- Willingness to work assigned major holidays per contract holiday policy
- All requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission — no schedule changes or RTO requests accepted post-offer or post-start
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department or ER hold area setting
- Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit acute care environment
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance and onboarding processes
