Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting
- Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
- Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
- Complete required facility modules prior to start and annually as directed
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, assessments, and credentialing requirements throughout the contract
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing
- Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Room experience required
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (no pending expirations)
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
- Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the Emergency Room specialty from assignments within the past 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC certification preferred
- 18 months of Emergency Room experience within a single location preferred
