Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (Excluding On-Call Time)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute injuries and medical emergencies requiring immediate attention
- Perform patient assessments and document care using Epic electronic health record system
- Electronically record and administer medications in accordance with facility protocols
- Deliver care within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, managing high-acuity and complex patient cases
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary emergency department team across a large, state-of-the-art facility
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department setting
- Familiarity with behavioral health patient care within an emergency department context
