Contract | 26-Week Assignment | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide triage and emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute injuries and medical emergencies
- Deliver patient assessments and document care using electronic health record systems
- Administer and electronically record medications in accordance with facility protocols
- Care for patients in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Center environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective emergency care
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume, state-of-the-art Emergency Department setting
- Strong triage assessment skills and ability to manage a fast-paced, high-acuity patient population
