Contract | 26 Weeks | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly
Key Responsibilities
- Provide triage and emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute injuries and medical emergencies
- Deliver care within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, managing high-acuity patients
- Utilize Epic for patient assessment, care documentation, and electronic medication administration
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team across a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department
- Care for patients across dedicated treatment areas including behavioral health, fast-track, and private treatment rooms
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
- Ability to commit to every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts; excessive time-off requests will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume, large-scale Emergency Department setting
- Strong triage assessment skills and experience managing diverse patient populations
