Contract | Days, 4x10 (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Site
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and monitor procedures within the cardiac interventional catheterization laboratory
- Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
- Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with established guidelines, state nurse practice act, and facility standards
- Float to other areas as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Invasive Cath Lab setting
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1 through April 1
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 4 or more years of experience in a Cardiac Invasive Cath Lab setting
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
