Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess laboring patients, interpret fetal monitoring data, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective delivery outcomes
- Float to Postpartum unit as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Complete required learning modules and maintain compliance with all facility standards prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions or hits on record
- Minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Postpartum experience required
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active NRP certification from an approved vendor
- Active AFM certification from an approved vendor
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency
- L&D skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with facility locations, shifts, and departments is strongly advantageous
