Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for cardiac surgical procedures including CABGs, aortic and mitral valve repairs and replacements, heart transplants, dissections, and LVAD placements
- Maintain a 1:2 staffing ratio throughout assigned shifts
- Float to other OR service lines such as General, Urology, or ENT as cardiac volume fluctuates, approximately once per week on average
- Fulfill on-call obligations of 5 call shifts per month, with varying days and hours
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid compact state license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience
- Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate for cardiac surgery cases
- Experience with CABGs, aortic and mitral valve repairs and replacements, heart transplants, aortic dissections, and LVADs
- Pennsylvania fingerprinting (Childline) clearance required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with vascular and thoracic surgical procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, and open AAA repair
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
