Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner electronic health records
- Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and respond to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Adhere to facility timekeeping requirements, including clocking in and out for all scheduled shifts
- Make up any missed shifts within the same work week or pay period as required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in West Virginia or a valid Compact State license (pending license accepted for submission)
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Flu vaccination required during the October–March flu season; declinations are not accepted
- Candidate's permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility; candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Minimum of 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
