Mercyhealth System Freeport Illinois is currently seeking board certified/board eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our excellent team of collaborating Physicians throughout the Rockford Illinois Region!
Opportunity:
- Collaborative Team: The Physician will collaborate with 3 Orthopedic Surgeons and a team of advanced practice professionals in an established practice that has room to grow.
- Support Staff: Orthopedic Surgical Nurse Navigators compliment the team in an effort to maximize patient readiness for surgery and achieve quality post-surgical outcomes.
- Teamwork: The Ambulatory Care Unit nursing team and Physical Rehabilitation Team work collaboratively with the surgeon to promote same day discharges after total joint surgery when appropriate.
- Facilities: The practice is located within the FHN Family Healthcare Center - Burchard Hills, a multi-specialty clinic just one mile from the network's 100-bed hospital.
- Schedule: 4 days/week of direct patient care with call responsibility.
- Call Coverage: Call is required at 1:3.

Qualifications:
- MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Residency Trained from an AGGME accredited program.
- The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team.
- Have a passion to make lives better.

Compensation & Benefits:
Mercyhealth offers a highly competitive initial salary guarantee (based on MGMA guidelines) leading to a production-based model after the first year, along with an outstanding benefits package:
- Range $750k-$900k
- Paid CME, malpractice, and licensure
