Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients with diverse needs
- Manage post-operative burn, flap, and wound care with precision and empathy
- Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize advanced equipment like wound vacs and PCA pumps to enhance recovery
- Monitor and document patient progress using Meditech EMR
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Wound care, ostomy care, or burn care experience highly preferred
- ACLS certification a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Med/Surg nursing principles and acute care
- Skilled in wound and ostomy care management
- Comfortable with Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
- Strong teamwork and positive attitude
