**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Team as an ER RN!**
Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to join our night shift team!
- If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about patient care, this position is for you.
- Requirements include:
- Active WI RN Licensure
- Education verification
- Flu vaccination
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- TNCC or TNS certification (AHA Provider Level for all Life Support certifications)
- You may have the opportunity to work at our second Emergency Department location in Janesville.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Utilize the nursing process in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional patient care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, and standards.
- Document patient care in accordance with established standards.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, plan interventions, and evaluate patient care outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and clinic policy, including patient and family education.
- Engage in unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance.
- Offer clinical expertise and support to various units and departments for patients' longitudinal care plans.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize patient safety and enhance the patient experience; escalate concerns appropriately.
- Participate in professional nursing activities, decisions, and peer review processes.
