Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Sandy Spring, MD, working in a skilled nursing facility. Provide skilled rehabilitation services to help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while gaining experience in a new location.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Maryland state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
Experience working in skilled nursing facility environments is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with geriatric rehabilitation and post-acute care.
Familiarity with documentation systems commonly used in skilled nursing facilities.

Assignment Details

Shift Hours: 08:30-16:30.
Work Pattern: Five 8-hour shifts per week.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide evidence-based physical therapy to residents in a skilled nursing environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans. Document outcomes and contribute to quality improvement initiatives that support patient-centered care.
